After a short battle with Glioblastoma ,Ian peacefully left us Tuesday on a cyclone wind.
If you were lucky enough to know Ian , you knew love, acceptance, respect and true friendship as he was a model of all that is good.
A genuine and remarkable healer with a unique ability ,Ian helped countless people over his 30 years as an R.M.T.
Ian excelled at everything he did but travel, golf, soccer, judo, Wing Chun, curling and fly-fishing were some of his favorite activities.
He spent time in Kamloops, Ontario, Jamaica ,Kauai, Cook Islands, Oregon, California and left lots of money in Las Vegas, he loved an adventure.
Ian made many lifelong connections through sports, turning teammates into friends.
Dedicating his time to the community was important to Ian, he spent 3 years as a Auxiliary Constable with the R.C.M.P.
Ian's favorite pastime was entertaining , always the ultimate host and eager to share his favorite meals , wine and scotch with everyone who crossed his path.
His roles as devoted husband and Dad made him the most proud and he pursued those with vigor and unconditional commitment to his wife , kids and grandkids.

Ian has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 1994 after graduating the RMT program at Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Ontario.
He established Georgiaview Health and Wellness in 1997 to create a place where he could help patients obtain, restore and maintain their physical health.
After 20 years of continuing education courses, Ian found a true passion in Osteopathic techniques and working with the body as a whole and complete structure.
Ian is currently taking courses in his free time to obtain his Doctor of Osteopathy title while maintain a full time permanent practice.
His extensive knowledge and years of experience allow him to see the body in a different perspective than most.
He focuses on the root of the issue rather than only relieving the symptoms.
When Ian is not working at the office he can be found spending time with his family, cooking on the BBQ, out on the lake fly fishing, or joining his friends on the golf course.
Ian is always accepting new patients and currently works at the office from Monday - Saturday.
